On the following pages you will find information and topics relevant to anyone working within hospice and palliative care bereavement services.

Membership to the association is available if you are responsible for the coordinating or management of all or part of bereavement support services within hospices and palliative care settings.

We do not offer organisational membership, but we do offer discounted membership to coordinators in the same organisation where this responsibility is split between team members. Please see our membership section for more information. Please follow the 'Join Now' link for more information.

The association is split into regions across the country to enable regular local networking meetings and free training days for all members. 

ABSCo is one of the founder members of the National Bereavement Alliance and works hard to improve standards, awareness and research into many areas of Bereavement.  Working in partnership with other bereavement organisation to affect change at all levels.

Our annual conference, which is open to non members, covers many themes from practical delivery , management, research and evaluation and outcomes in the bereavement field.
